Utkrishta Foundation is a non-profit student-led organization that conducted another successful drive with Aarohan NGO, Malviya Nagar, New Delhi. Aarohan NGO works in the area of Education and Community upliftment. Its support is holistic in nature from Early Childhood to Livelihood. The members of Utkrishta foundation extended their hands to help those kids who have such a golden destiny ahead.
Aarohan NGO gave a very modest feel when we first reached. The kids’ beaming and inquisitive faces gave out assertive energy throughout our whole visit. We distributed notebooks, pencils, pens, erasers, sharpeners, chocolates, biscuits and even storybooks to the kids. Playing games, talking to them, discovering where their interests lied was such a wonderful experience for us. The knowledge every child possessed was something so shockingly astonishing. The NGO took great care about how the students learned certain demeanors and how they acted was another thing that left us astounded.

The kids made us immensely happy and we hope that it was an exceptional day for them as it was for us. As in the words of Late Princess Diana, “Carry out a random act of kindness, with no expectation of reward, safe in the knowledge that one day someone might do the same for you.”
It was an incredible spin with them and we wish that soon these kids would stretch out to the stars.
